Jerry Jones is at an interesting point with the Dallas Cowboys at the moment.
After winning 12 games each of the last three regular seasons but only having one total playoff win to show for it, he could be second-guessing some of his players.
Arguably his three most important players in quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and edge-rusher Micah Parsons are all entering the final year of their respective deals.
Jones hasn’t given any of them a new contract yet.
Former NFL player and current analyst Ross Tucker recently joined The Dan Patrick Show to talk about his thoughts on what Jones is doing right now.
“I’m at a loss for what the Dallas Cowboys are doing from a contract standpoint…I think it’s really insulting to those guys,” Tucker stated.

Jones will have to make sure he gets the price right for these three players if he wants to pay them.
This is a wealthy team that should know the value that is right in front of them.
Prescott is coming off of his best season as a pro.
He led the league in touchdown passes.
Lamb led the league in receptions.
Parsons is an annual Defensive Player of the Year candidate.
If Jerry Jones wants to try and win a Super Bowl, he is going to need all of these guys.
That should require him to open his checkbook.
