The 2023 NFL Season is a campaign the Carolina Panthers would like to leave in the rearview.
They were the worst team in the NFL last year, which was a tough pill to swallow for rookie quarterback, Bryce Young.
Young was selected with the No. 1 pick in last year’s draft, and while he was a highly touted prospect, he couldn’t ultimately help deliver the team more wins.
While this is the case, many fans and analysts have expressed concern that it wasn’t necessarily Young’s fault, but rather the organization’s for not putting him in a place to succeed.
One of the biggest complaints about the Panthers last year was that they didn’t have a good enough receiving room for Young to work with in Year 1.
Sam Monson, the lead analyst at PFF, recently highlighted Mike Evans as a player who could be a fit with Young in this offense.

Evans is currently a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but is a free agent heading into the 2024 season.
There has been some speculation that Evans wants out of Tampa Bay, and if that is the case, the Panthers could be an interesting landing spot.
They might have had the worst record in the NFL last season, but this could be an opportunity for Evans to use his veteran experience to help Young get a good head start on his NFL career.
It will be interesting to see where Evans ends up, especially if he decides to move on from the Buccaneers, a team he has played for his entire career.
