The New York Giants have a big decision to make about their quarterback.
Barring a surprise or a major turn of events, Daniel Jones is fully expected to be ready and back to full strength for the start of training camp.
Nonetheless, there have been multiple rumors about the team no longer being sold on him as their quarterback for the future.
NFL analyst and former player Chris Canty said on the UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio that he could see the Giants being very aggressive in trading up in the NFL Draft to get a quarterback, just like they did with Eli Manning.
“I could see the #Giants deciding to get aggressive like they did once upon a time in trading for Eli Manning,” Canty said.

He believes they could trade up to the third spot if the New England Patriots aren’t sold on whoever’s available.
This wouldn’t be that far-fetched.
With most mock drafts having Jayden Daniels gone at No. 2, Drake Maye would be a match made in heaven for the Giants.
He has a similar build to Josh Allen, and we already saw what Brian Daboll was able to do with him over time.
Jones was far from efficient after his breakout year, and his career-best season wasn’t that impressive.
The Giants offense looked much better without Jones on the field, so it’s not crazy to think they could look to make a big splash in the first round.
