The Baltimore Ravens have the best record in the AFC at 9-3, and there are plenty of people who believe they have a great shot at reaching the Super Bowl this season.
Even though star tight end Mark Andrews, their biggest offensive threat, went down with a season-ending injury three weeks ago in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals, they have continued to win.
The Ravens have been winning this season largely because of their defense, and per NFL on FOX Podcast, Daryl Johnston said that their defense has been so effective because while they send multiple players to pressure the opposing team’s quarterback, they have the personnel to also have defensive linemen drop back in coverage.

Baltimore is first in points allowed, passing touchdowns allowed, and rushing touchdowns allowed.
In their last game, which was a 20-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, they forced Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert into completing just 29 of his 44 pass attempts and an interception while also forcing three fumbles.
Perhaps the centerpiece of Baltimore’s defense is star linebacker Roquan Smith, who has 126 tackles (70 solo) through 12 games this season.
In addition, they’re likely to get stud cornerback Marlon Humphrey back after he missed their last two games with an injury.
After playing the Los Angeles Rams this weekend, the Ravens will face the Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers, and Miami Dolphins in what will be a challenging and crucial stretch of games.
