We just have four weeks left in the 2023 NFL regular season.
That means that even though most of the picture is already set, some teams could already sneak their way into the playoffs or even into a divisional title conversation.
Likewise, it also shows that some teams that seemed to be legitimate Super Bowl contenders weren’t as good as we originally thought.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Craig Carton is already ready to rule out the Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, and Jacksonville Jaguars from legitimate contention.
“The Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Philadelphia Eagles are all FRAUDS. While they’re all going to the playoffs, none of them are legitimate Super Bowl contenders.”

In the latest edition of The Carton Show, Carton claimed that even though all of those teams will end up making the playoffs, none of them will win the big game this season.
The Detroit Lions couldn’t get the job done vs. Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears, looking sluggish from the very start of the game and leaving the door wide open for the Green Bay Packers or Minnesota Vikings to challenge them for the division.
The Philadelphia Eagles were exposed for the second time in as many weeks, failing to pose any sort of threat to their lifelong rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, losing 33-13 to push their home winning streak to 15 games.
As for the Jacksonville Jaguars, they did manage to make it a close game vs. the Cleveland Browns’ stout defense, but they’ve dropped the ball way too many times against contending teams this season.
Going the distance in this league isn’t easy at all, and it seems like these teams aren’t ready to take that leap this year.
