The Chicago Bears haven’t gotten anything right over the past couple of years.
Losers of 14 straight games, they couldn’t even hold on to a three-touchdown lead at home late in Sunday’s game.
On top of the losses, the way they’ve misused their franchise quarterback has been exasperating for most fans and analysts.
That includes ESPN’s Mike Greenberg, who claims that they’ve broken Justin Fields beyond repair, adding that the best thing that could happen to him would be to get out of there right away, via “Get Up.”
“The Chicago Bears have screwed that kid up beyond repair. … The best thing that could happen to Justin Fields is to get up out of there immediately.”

Fields and WR Chase Claypool were quite critical of the team’s coaching, and rightfully so.
They’ve been unwilling or unable to play them to the best of their strengths, and their lack of adjustments after things evidently don’t work out has also raised plenty of concerns.
The Bears are currently projected to have the first two picks in the upcoming NFL Draft.
And while that would usually mean good news — especially for a team seemingly looking for a new quarterback — it is hard to trust they’ll get things right this time.
USC star QB Caleb Williams has hinted at potentially going back to school for an additional year if he doesn’t like the situation or team he could go to by declaring for the NFL Draft, and it would be hard to blame him for making that decision to avoid the Bears.
