Micah Parsons has been a force to be reckoned with since he entered the league.
He won Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2021 and has been a member of the All-Pro’s first team on two separate occasions.
Parsons is typically in the news for his prowess on the gridiron, but he has gotten some flak recently for comments about the Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones.
Parsons has been on record saying the Cowboys should get a bigger linebacker, which hasn’t been received well across the board.
Craig Carton discussed this in a recent segment of this show, saying, “Maybe you just need to play better.”
“While Miach Parsons is a great player, there’s a lot of games where he doesn’t show up in the stat column at all and I’m saying to myself, maybe you just need to play better.”

In Carton’s eyes, if Parsons plays to his fullest potential, there will be no need for the Cowboys to add another linebacker to their roster.
He has proven to be one of the best defenders on any field that he steps on, and in theory, he can be the leader of the Cowboys’ defense.
The Cowboys have a lot of questions to answer heading into the 2024 season, especially after their first-round playoff exit against the Green Bay Packers.
This team might have to change a lot, and while their defense played well this year, they could be forced to make a few changes.
It remains to be seen if they’ll heed Parsons’ advice.
