The Cincinnati Bengals struggled throughout the first month of the campaign, but they looked very solid in their last game.
Granted that it was against the 1-4 Arizona Cardinals — perhaps the worst team in the league — but still.
That’s why Willie Colon and Craig Carton talked on The Carton Show about how they feel like the Bengals — and mostly, Joe Burrow — are finally back.
“I think the Cincinnati Bengals are back. I think Joe Burrow is back.”

They expect a close and exciting game vs. the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, and rightfully so.
Even though they beat a struggling team, the fact that Joe Burrow was finally buying time in the pocket and moving around freely was quite encouraging, as he had barely moved while dealing with a calf injury.
On top of that, the defense managed to get three takeaways, and that’s always great for team morale.
They also talked about Ja’Marr Chase finally looking happier as well, so it was a well-rounded win for Zac Taylor’s team.
A loss to the Cardinals would’ve pretty much ended their season early.
When healthy, Burrow is a top-tier quarterback, and he’s already proven what he’s capable of.
There were some major concerns about him not getting enough time to heal, and the fans encouraged the Bengals to shut him down until he was ready to get back on the field.
Fortunately, that may not be the case anymore.
