The Buffalo Bills lost another game they could’ve and should’ve won.
Once again, Josh Allen’s proneness to turning the ball over hurt his team, and that’s not an outlier; it’s a trend.
Granted that Ken Dorsey’s predictable offense and lack of in-game adjustments have often put Allen in a tough spot.
But his decision-making and constant tendency to make forced throws are worrisome, and it seems like that’s never going to change at this point.
That’s why NFL analyst Mike Greenberg recently compared Allen to Brett Favre, talking about him being one of the most talented quarterbacks of all time, but also losing a ton of games because of his careless play and constant giveaways (via Get Up).
“At some point, Josh Allen is giving away games. … He reminds me of Brett Favre. Brett Favre might have been the most talented quarterback of his generation, but he lost a lot of games with recklessness and mistakes.”

Favre broke all kinds of records and was easily the best quarterback of his generation.
However, he was erratic and careless, and could throw for four scores and still lose because of four interceptions.
No one puts Allen’s talents in question, and as Greenberg pointed out, chances are that at least 26 NFL teams would gladly switch quarterbacks with the Bills.
Then again, it seems like it’s about time that the fans and the media hold Allen accountable.
He’s supposed to be their leader and the one who takes them over the hump, and while he’s leading the league in touchdown passes and is capable of making any possible throw, he’s also leading the league in picked-off passes.
He’ll have to take a deep look in the mirror and figure things out before his team’s title window closes right before his eyes.
