The Philadelphia Eagles cannot afford to lose to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
There’s a big difference between a ‘must-win’ and a ‘can’t-lose’ game.
The Cowboys have nothing to lose and a lot to win ahead of this rematch.
That’s why NFL analyst Peter Schrager believes that the Cowboys could regain psychological control of the NFC East for the first time since Nick Sirianni’s debut season with a win at Arlington.
“If the Cowboys can beat the Eagles in their building, I think it would be the first time that they’ve had real control of this division since *that* game 2 years ago…”@PSchrags on what a Cowboys win over the Eagles would mean for the NFC pic.twitter.com/uVy9D9fzRH

The Cowboys feel quite confident about themselves after putting the Eagles against the ropes in their first encounter of the season.
The Eagles got kind of exposed in their last game vs. the San Francisco 49ers, and teams are riding opposing momentum right now.
Mike McCarthy’s team has won 14 consecutive games at AT&T Stadium, averaging well over 30 points per game while allowing less than 20.
The Eagles still have the best record in the league, but analysts and fans just don’t see them as the team to beat anymore.
Their defense hasn’t been as stout since Jonathan Gannon left, and Jalen Hurts has kind of taken a minor step back from his MVP-caliber campaign in 2022.
On the flip side, Dak Prescott is playing the best football of his career, and the Cowboys are undefeated since their first game vs. the Eagles five weeks ago.
Will the Cowboys finally take that leap forward and prove that they can beat winning teams, or will the Eagles bounce back from one of their toughest losses in recent history? We’ll have to tune in and see.
