The Dallas Cowboys are fresh off making a big statement.
They pushed their home winning streak to 15 games, and they did it against their most hated rival.
That win over the Philadelphia Eagles only cemented Dak Prescott’s MVP case.
That’s why NFL analyst David Helman believes that if the Cowboys win at least three of their next four games, there’s simply no way someone can take him down for MVP (via NFL on FOX Podcast).
If the #Cowboys win 3 of their next 4, go ahead and lock in Dak for MVP. @davidhelman_ with more : https://t.co/szpGO23Vsh pic.twitter.com/5VgsFRnNi6

Helman stated that the only guy who could beat him for MVP is Brock Purdy, but that’ll also depend on how the Niners fare the rest of the way.
Kyle Shanahan’s team has dates with the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Washington Commanders, and Los Angeles Rams.
Two divisional games and a game vs. the Ravens aren’t exactly how you’d want to finish the season.
As for the Cowboys, things don’t get any easier for them either, as they’ll square off vs. the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and Washington Commanders.
Truth be told, Prescott and Purdy are both more than worthy MVP candidates, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see either of them run away with the award.
Even so, it’s still discouraging to see that the league, oddsmakers, and voters simply refuse to give skill and defensive players their flowers in the MVP conversation.
What about Christian McCaffrey, Myles Garrett, or Tyreek Hill?
Perhaps the league should just make a QB-exclusive award to put an end to this, as it’s just not fair.
