The Miami Dolphins continue to be overlooked and underrated by most fans and analysts.
Once again, a lot of that has to do with Tua Tagovailoa, even though he’s been one of the best quarterbacks in the game this season, according to several metrics.
That’s why former NFL player Jason McCourty likes to see Tua keeping receipts and defying the media and the naysayers.
In the latest edition of Good Morning Football, the former defender stated that Tua has always had to defend himself, first from all the criticism about the Dolphins passing on Justin Herbert to get him, and then every single time he’s been out there.
“He can put together his MVP campaign with the three games that are coming up: the Dallas Cowboys, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Buffalo Bills…”@JasonMcCourty on @MiamiDolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa pic.twitter.com/zIeIEso87E

Now, the narrative around him is that he’s being carried by Tyreek Hill, even though he’s slinging the football 50 yards down the field.
For McCourty, the only way Tua could make a realistic MVP case is by finishing the season strong against the likes of the Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens, and Buffalo Bills.
Needless to say, that’s a brutal stretch to close out the season for any team, especially one that’s still clinging to the hope of getting the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
The Dolphins have had the best offense in the game, and look like the kind of team who could thrash any opponent on any given Sunday.
Then again, they’ve also struggled mightily against winning teams, and there will be no better time to prove the doubters wrong than during this brutal three-game stretch to close out the campaign.
