The NFL’s 2023 offseason featured several quarterbacks signing massive contracts.
Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, and Justin Herbert all tied themselves to their respective franchises for the foreseeable future.
Burrow’s contract ended up being the largest of the bunch, signing a deal for $275 million over five years.
While this made him the highest annual earner in league history, Mike Tannenbaum recently predicted that an even larger contract is on the horizon.
As Tannenbaum shared via the NFL on ESPN, he believes the Dallas Cowboys are gearing up to sign Dak Prescott to a massive deal.

Tannenbaum claimed, “He’s going to be the highest-paid player in the sport within the next four months.”
Prescott faced significant critique heading into the 2023 campaign and has risen above the noise as the year has gone on.
He has now played himself into the MVP conversation, getting back into the good graces of NFL analysts.
His doubters are starting to come around on him, and if he can keep up this pace of play, there is a growing belief that he will get a hefty contract extension.
The Cowboys are a historic organization that constantly has a lot of eyes and attention on it.
If they have a solid franchise quarterback for the next five years, it could go a long way in helping them achieve their goal of another Super Bowl victory.
For an organization still considered “America’s Team,” their championship drought continues to be magnified the longer they go without winning.
Will Prescott be the QB to help them achieve these goals?
