One of the most intriguing teams this season in the NFL is the Los Angeles Rams.
They are moving forward without legendary defender Aaron Donald, who retired this offseason.
However, they still have Matthew Stafford, All-Pro receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, and the defense should be stout despite the loss of Donald.
Fox Sports’s Craig Carton had this to say Friday morning about how good the Rams could be this year:
“Are they contenders? I think they’re just on the outside. I think they’re a playoff team,” Carton stated on The Carton Show.

Head coach Sean McVay has guided the Rams to the playoffs in 5 of his 7 seasons with the franchise.
Again, with Stafford, Kupp, and Nacua still in the fold on offense, this team can still win double-digit games this year.
This was a team that started with a record of 3-6 and finished 10-7.
They can still get hot at any moment.
It will be obviously a lot tougher without Donald.
But, they did add veterans in former All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White and free agent safety Kamren Curl.
The addition of former Rams cornerback Darious Williams should also help out on the backend.
They drafted well with the additions of star Florida State defenders Jared Verse and Braden Fisk, Michigan All-American running back Blake Corum, and Miami All-American safety Kamren Kinchens.
Do not make the mistake of counting out the Rams this year.
No, they might not be a juggernaut, but that doesn’t mean they should be slept on.
