Long before the start of the NFL season, we already knew that multiple teams wouldn’t mind not competing this year to have a better chance to get the No. 1 pick.
That’s what happens whenever a special talent like Caleb Williams becomes available, and most struggling teams would definitely love to build their projects around him.
However, the USC star has been in a bit over his head with his approach to his professional career.
First, he and his father pretty much hinted at him staying in college for another year if they didn’t like the team that could draft him.
Now, a new rumor states that Williams is actually looking to have partial ownership of the team that takes him in the NFL Draft.
Needless to say, that didn’t even sound realistic to a lot of people, including NFL analyst Michael Lombardi.
The chances of Caleb Williams being part of the ownership is the most ridiculous story I ever heard/read. It’s comical–and if this is true, he is getting horrendous advice. He has a better chance of landing on the moon than making this happen. WTF.

Lombardi stated that this was the most ridiculous story he had ever heard, adding that he had a better shot at landing on the moon than getting that done.
He didn’t think Williams and his camp were serious about that, and if they were, he believed they were giving him terrible advice.
Truth be told, Williams does look like a special player and a potential franchise quarterback.
His game resembles that of Patrick Mahomes, and he looks tailor-made for today’s game.
But he hasn’t played a single snap in the NFL, and he’s actually coming off his worst performance in his college career.
