The New York Jets will face their toughest challenge of the season yet, squaring off against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles.
Needless to say, they’ll need to be flawless to have a chance to pull off this upset, as they’re currently seven-point underdogs.
That means putting the ball in Breece Hall’s hands as early and often as possible.
That’s why Craig Carton believes he could “easily” double his projected total of 55 rushing yards vs. the Eagles.

Carton explained that his Jets will need to give Hall at least 20 carries, and while the Eagles have a solid defense, he doesn’t believe they’re good enough to hold him back so badly.
Granted that Carton is a diehard Jets fan, so he’s kind of biased, but he could have a valid point right there.
Also, Zach Wilson has looked much better in his past couple of games, and that also opens lanes up for the running game.
The Eagles’ front seven will give the Jets a tough time.
Robert Saleh’s offensive line is far from elite, and Wilson has often struggled when he doesn’t have a clean pocket.
That could bode for an ugly game for the Jets, and we already know that they don’t fare that well when playing catchup.
But the Eagles’ offense has been far from perfect this season, and they’ll go against a stout defensive unit with a great nose for the football.
The Eagles should win on paper, but there are no easy games in the National Football League.
