The Kansas City Chiefs had to face more criticism than ever before this season.
It all started when they lost to the Detroit Lions in the season opener, with people talking about how Patrick Mahomes wouldn’t be able to lead this team back to the mountaintop.
Notably, NFL analyst Craig Carton was one of his biggest doubters.
He constantly picked against them throughout the course of the regular season, doubting their ability to win almost every big game.
He continued to pick against them in the playoffs, even stating that the Miami Dolphins would beat them on the road.
Fast forward to today, and it seems like Carton hasn’t learned his lesson yet.
Talking on The Carton Show, he went on record to state that the Chiefs will not be in the next Super Bowl.
“Kansas City’s not in next year’s Super Bowl,” Carton said.

Of course, if making it two years in a row is tough, imagine three in a row.
Then again, we’re talking about a team that has made it to four Super Bowls in the past five years, winning three of them.
Also, the Chiefs have made it to the AFC Championship Game in every season with Mahomes at quarterback.
Betting against Andy Reid’s team has rarely paid off, especially when the season is on the line, but Carton still is unfazed by this team.
