The Philadelphia Eagles made a statement in the offseason.
GM Howie Roseman and HC Nick Sirianni made sure to get the best people available to revamp the coaching staff, hiring Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio as their new offensive and defensive coordinators, respectively.
They also made a big splash by stealing Saquon Barkley from the New York Giants.
That’s why they should be a much-improved team from last season, even though the losses of Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce — both of whom retired after the season — will obviously sting.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Craig Carton believes they will have a cakewalk through the NFC East Division next season.
Speaking on The Carton Show, he stated that the Eagles should go back to their dominant ways next season, with only the San Francisco 49ers ahead of them in the NFC.
“The Eagles are gonna win the NFC East and it ain’t gonna be close.”

On top of that, he believes the NFC East is not a good division at all right now, so they should find little to no trouble running away with the pennant.
Truth be told, it’s hard to argue with that statement.
Granted, Dak Prescott has fared well against them, but the Dallas Cowboys are significantly worse now than they were last season.
The Giants kept adding pieces to their defense but their quarterback situation is still subpar, and the new-look Washington Commanders will still need more time to be at their best.
The table is set for the Eagles to win their division, and anything short of a deep postseason trip will be disappointing.
