The pressure is on in Philadelphia this year.
Head coach Nick Sirianni has all the talent in the world this year on both sides of the ball, and that is with the Eagles losing two franchise icons in Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox.
FOX Sports’ Craig Carton recently said that he believes if the Eagles don’t win the NFC East this year, Sirianni will struggle to become a head coach in the future.
Here is what he had to say about that on “The Carton Show.”
“If they don’t win the division this year, Nick Sirianni will never be a head coach in the NFL ever again,” Carton stated.

This all stems from what happened to the Eagles last year.
After starting the season 10-1, they completely fell off the track.
They finished 11-6 and got absolutely obliterated in the Wild Card round of the playoffs against the Tampa Bay Bucs in January.
This season, Sirianni has plenty of talent to contend for a Super Bowl.
He has his dual-threat quarterback in Pro-Bowler Jalen Hurts, a two-time Pro Bowl running back in free-agent addition Saquon Barkley, and he has a pair of 1,000-yard receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
The offensive line should still be solid, and the defense has plenty of ballers too, including defensive lineman Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter.
There is no excuse for this team not to be good this year.
If Philly misses the playoffs this season, Sirianni will most likely be updating his job portfolio.
