The Buffalo Bills were considered one of the AFC’s best teams heading into the 2023 season.
Josh Allen was coming off an MVP-caliber campaign the year prior, and with a revamped defense, the Bills were expected to make some serious noise in the postseason.
We now know that the team fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round of the playoffs, falling short of the Super Bowl again this year.
While the Bills seemingly have a great core that will be together again next year, David Jacoby is concerned about one of the team’s key receivers.
As he mentioned on The Carton Show, “I think Stefon Diggs is not on this team next year. They’re a better team without him next year.”

Diggs has been one of the NFL’s best receivers when healthy, but his time with the Bills has been filled with disappointment.
There have been many reports that he is unhappy with the organization and would be happier elsewhere moving forward.
Allen is still viewed as an elite quarterback, and while this could be an excellent situation for Diggs, he doesn’t seem to see it that way.
If the team does trade him, it would open the door for them to sign several marquee players.
Diggs’ salary cap hit is $27.8 million next year, and if he’s not contributing in a way they would like him to, the Bills could try to replace his production with someone else.
Can the Bills make the necessary offseason moves to return to a top AFC roster?
