The New York Jets did what they needed to do.
They were a quarterback away from being a playoff team, and they went out and got one of the best in business.
Unfortunately for them, Aaron Rodgers was only able to stay on the field for a grand total of four plays, and his comeback attempt was cut short because of their failure to stay in playoff contention.
Nonetheless, Rodgers’ faith in the team and desire to play has remained unwavering ever since.
Recently, the former MVP claimed that he feels very good right now, and he believes he can play for four more years if fortune goes his way.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Craig Carton — who also happens to be a diehard Jets fan — thinks the team will be in a legitimate position to compete for years to come, as he’s still one of the best quarterbacks in the game.
“Aaron Rodgers is as good or better than any quarterback in the NFL,” Carton said.

Needless to say, things won’t be easy for the Jets, not even with Rodgers behind center.
The AFC is absolutely stacked with talent, and even their own division has two legitimate Super Bowl contenders in the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.
Then again, with that defense and their young players, Aaron Rodgers looks like the perfect guy to lead this ever-struggling franchise all the way back to the mountaintop.
