It’s never a good thing when a star player makes more headlines than catches, and the Buffalo Bills found that out the hard way last season.
Most people predicted Stefon Diggs would be traded at some point, as he even called out QB Josh Allen, and it just didn’t seem like he was comfortable there.
Even his brother, Trevon, urged the team to just ‘free him’ and send him to the Dallas Cowboys.
Fast forward to today, and even though multiple teams could be interested in his services, his massive contract makes it tough to negotiate.
That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton believes people shouldn’t jump to conclusions, as he’s just not going to go anywhere any time soon.
Talking on The Carton Show, the controversial analyst stated that there’s just no way Diggs will be somewhere else other than Buffalo simply because he’s got a cap hit of almost $30 million:
“Stefon Diggs cannot be traded. He will not be traded. He will be a Buffalo Bill,” he said.

Also, Diggs’ production took a massive dip in the second half of the season.
So, given his history of locker room conflict dating back to his days with the Minnesota Vikings and all the money he’s about to cost a team, it might not make sense for a team to trade for him.
