The Detroit Lions are coming off their best season, possibly ever.
After winning 12 games in the regular season, they won the NFC North for the first time.
In fact, they’d go on to make their first NFC Championship Game appearance since 1991.
What head coach Dan Campbell and Co. have done in the Motor City is extraordinary.
Craig Carton believes that the NFC North is their division in 2024.
“Until Detroit falters, it’s still their division,” Carton recently said on “The Carton Show.”

This is the belief of most NFL pundits out there.
The Lions are on a roll right now despite their heartbreaking playoff loss to the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.
As Carton illustrates, they have a very favorable schedule and should win 10-12 games in 2024.
The question is whether or not they can hold off the Green Bay Packers in the division.
They did beat the Packers at Lambeau Field earlier in the year, but then Green Bay came right back on Thanksgiving and beat them down.
That is going to be one of the better rivalries in the league this upcoming season and beyond.
For now, it is the Lions’ division to lose because of their incredible 2023 season.
Quarterback Jared Goff, after a career year of his own, is the leader of this team and will be for the foreseeable future after his four-year extension was signed earlier this offseason.
If Detroit brings the attitude they did last year, 2024 will be another magical season in the Motor City.
