The Philadelphia Eagles season ended a lot sooner than they expected.
After starting the season with a 10-1 record, the Eagles limped into the playoffs after winning just one of their last six games of the regular season.
They lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round, causing the team to clean house.
The team fired their offensive and defensive coordinators, leaving Nick Sirianni behind to coach them for at least one more year.
While this was a questionable decision, at least in the eyes of many fans and analysts, Sirianni appears to have won over the front office.
Knowing he is at the helm, the Eagles can begin their search for a new defensive and offensive coordinator.
The team hasn’t necessarily announced any front runners, but as he typically does, Craig Carton endorsed his two favorites.
“The new offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles is going to be Frank Reich, and the new defensive coordinator is going to be Wink Martindale,” Carton said.

Martindale has a lot of experience at the collegiate and professional levels.
He has been the DC for the Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, and most recently, the New York Giants.
Martindale could be a good fit for this team, especially since he comes from the Eagles’ divisional rival.
Reich could also be an interesting option for the Eagles.
He was an NFL quarterback for nearly 15 years and has plenty of coaching experience on various teams across the league.
Reich has a history with the Eagles, as he was their OC from 2016-2017.
Will the team take another chance on him, as Carton mentions?
