The Buffalo Bills have done it again.
They just lost a game they were supposed to win, and it was mostly because of the turnovers.
Josh Allen was efficient when he was completing passes to his teammates, but he also threw a couple of footballs toward the opponent’s way, and that’s not a winning formula, more often than not.
That’s why NFL analyst David Helman wanted to make it loud and clear that this is not a new issue (Via FOX Sports NFL).
“At this point I think you say this is who Josh Allen is.”

Per Helman, this is just who Josh Allen is: An incredibly talented quarterback who can play like the best in the league one day, but who’s also incredibly prone to turning the ball over.
The Bills have just lived and died by that, and the good typically outweighs the bad, but that just hasn’t been the case this season.
Allen has some solid numbers this season and is leading the league in touchdown passes, but he’s also leading it in interceptions.
People had a lot to say about Jameis Winston when he was posting those kinds of numbers, and with the Bills falling to 5-5 because of these turnovers, perhaps it should be a bigger talking point than it is right now.
This inconsistency makes people feel like the Bills just aren’t at the same level as other AFC contenders anymore.
And while they’re obviously a team to look out for, it feels like their Super Bowl window could close sooner rather than later.
