Nobody knows how the season in Chicago will go for Caleb Williams and Co.
Most believe Williams is the guy that can turn the fortunes of the franchise around.
If he is to do so, he will need to start his career off with a bang.
Fox Sports’s Craig Carton believes the first overall pick has the ability to set a franchise record in year one.
“I think it’s (4,000 yards) on the table…When’s the last time a Bears quarterback threw for 4,000 yards,” Carton stated.

Erik Kramer set the franchise record for single-season pass yards in the year 1995 (3,838).
This franchise is known for being a graveyard for quarterbacks.
Williams has the potential to change the narrative.
He threw for over 4,500 yards at USC back in 2022 and has all the ability to do the unthinkable in Chicago.
The Heisman Trophy winner also recorded 93 scrimmage touchdowns across his two seasons at USC.
He is more than capable of lighting up the scoreboard and attacking through the air.
With the weapons that the Bears have to offer, including six-time Pro-Bowler Keenan Allen, first-round wide receiver Rome Odunze, and multi-time 1,000-yard receiver D.J. Moore, this passing attack should be on fire during the 2024 season.
All Caleb Williams needs to be is himself and they’ll be fine.
With his playmaking abilities and talent both on the ground and through the air, he should smash franchise records and take Chicago to heights that they haven’t been to since 1985.
This is his team, and all Bears fans need to do is sit back and relax.
