The Chicago Bears haven’t been very good this season, but they can still turn things around.
Not this year, of course, but they’re likely to have two top-three picks in the upcoming NFL Draft, and that clearly helps.
So, assuming that they use those two picks to get star QB Caleb Williams out of USC and WR Marvin Harrison Jr. out of Ohio State, the next big thing to address would be the head coaching position.
Matt Eberflus has shown over and over that he’s not the right guy to lead the franchise, and he’s a prime candidate to be fired in the offseason.
With that in mind, former Super Bowl champion Chris Canty suggested on ESPN’s Get Up that the Bears give Jim Harbaugh a call.
.@ChrisCanty99 could see a world where Jim Harbaugh is the Bears’ HC next season:
“He is damn good at his job which is coaching football and then resurrecting programs. Why would we think he couldn’t get the Chicago Bears turned around?” pic.twitter.com/9liIFzFK9n

Sign-stealing controversy aside, Canty pointed out that Harbaugh is a very good coach known for turning teams around.
He did that with the San Francisco 49ers, taking them to three straight NFC Championship Games and even one Super Bowl before being let go.
The Michigan HC has been tied to multiple NFL jobs in the past couple of years, and it feels like it’s just a matter of time before he gets another shot in the league.
The Bears desperately need a culture turnaround.
They’re likely to get some valuable pieces in return for Justin Fields, who’s also going to be on his way out, and they have some decent pieces on defense.
It might be a long shot, but he could be just what they need right now.
