With so many big quarterback prospects and a bunch of QB-needy teams in this year’s NFL Draft, fans are set up for what could be a fun draft with a lot of trades and surprises.
One analyst is particularly interested in what one team might do, as it could dictate how the rest of the draft unfolds.
NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah appeared on an episode of “What The Football” and said that one of the most intriguing aspects of this draft is whatever the New York Giants decide to do, saying they could try to move up to No. 2 or No. 3 for Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye or they could stay put and take a receiver.
One of the most intriguing aspects of this year’s #NFLDraft: what are the @Giants going to do? Trade up for a QB? Stick and pick?@MoveTheSticks on that and all else on the Draft Preview episode of “What The Football” with Suzy & @AmyTrask

The Giants are in an interesting spot with the sixth pick because they need a quarterback and a wide receiver, as their receiving corps is barren and no one believes they trust Daniel Jones as the franchise QB.
The problem they have is that the two teams picking ahead of them don’t need a quarterback and are candidates to trade down so someone can move up for Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy, which would take away any chance of the Giants trading down.
Teams moving up for McCarthy likely have to get ahead of the Giants, unless this is all a smokescreen and McCarthy’s draft stock isn’t as high as we have been led to believe.
We’re less than a week away and there isn’t much time left for rumors and smokescreens, so everyone has to empty the chamber before then and get all the hot takes and predictions out in the open before Thursday.
