The Minnesota Vikings have recently inked star wide receiver Justin Jefferson to a major extension worth $140 million over four years.
$110 million will be guaranteed.
For Jefferson, it is the largest non-quarterback contract in NFL history.
While analyzing his and other major wide receiver contracts, Fox Sports’s Craig Carton noticed how well the Eagles are run.
“The Philadelphia Eagles might have the best general manager in football,” Carton stated.

This was brought up because of how GM Howie Roseman was able to get the contracts of his two top receivers in All-Pro A.J. Brown and 1,000-yard wide receiver DeVonta Smith done and paid for over the next three or four seasons.
Roseman was able to ink arguably the best wide receiver duo in the league for the foreseeable future.
Not only does Philadelphia tend to lock up their talent, but they pay very wisely.
Brown is currently making over $26 million less than Jefferson now, which is good news for Philadelphia.
They were able to pay him specifically before Jefferson’s big deal.
He and Smith could be considered the league’s best duo right now.
Brown is one of the top pass-catchers in the league.
He has made three Pro Bowls in the last four seasons and has recorded four 1,000-yard seasons in a span of the last five years.
Smith is the Robin to Brown’s Batman.
He has recorded over 3,000 yards in total over the last three years with back-to-back seasons of 80+ receptions and 1,000+ receiving yards.
GM Howie Roseman is a front office wizard for sure.
