The Dallas Cowboys arguably aren’t the best team in the NFC East division right now.
They might not even be a top-five team in the NFC.
Their roster got worse, their schedule is tough, and there are serious doubts about their quarterback and their head coach in the playoffs.
That’s why sports analyst Craig Carton believes this is going to be a very bad year for America’s Team.
Talking on “The Carton Show,” he explained that the only reason why Las Vegas has them winning over ten games and being favored in 14 out of 17 regular-season games this season is because of how many fans they have.
“This is going to be a bad year for the Dallas Cowboys. They cannot win the division.”

He talked about several games in which they shouldn’t be favored, and thinks they would be lucky to win double-digit games.
If anything, he thinks that Mike McCarthy might win Coach of the Year if they win at least ten games.
Truth be told, looking at their schedule, he might be right on point.
Granted, divisional games are a bit of a toss-up, and both the Washington Commanders and New York Giants aren’t good teams right now.
Still, they have to go against the likes of the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, Philadelphia Eagles (twice), and Cincinnati Bengals, and they’re not currently better than any of those teams.
The Cowboys will continue to be amongst the most popular and talked-about teams in all sports, but that won’t necessarily make them one of the teams to beat in the league.
