The Philadelphia Phillies are once again hoping to make a run at the World Series.
Over the past two seasons, no NL team has had more playoff wins than the Phillies.
But, they keep coming up just shy of the ultimate goal.
One player who has been consistently great for the Phillies is Bryce Harper.
He signed with the team in 2019 and has been one of the best players in baseball since that time.
Harper even has an MVP to his name while wearing the red pinstripes.
Yet, Harper looks poised for a monster season in 2024.
According to Ryan Spaeder, Harper is batting .294 with 32 home runs and 94 RBI over his last 162 games including the postseason.
#Phillies Bryce Harper is batting .294/.402/.523 with 111 runs, 36 doubles, 1 triple, 32 home runs, 94 RBI, 102 bases on balls, and 17 stolen bases over his last 162 games played including postseason play. He has hardly been healthy… it all comes together in 2024.

He missed the first month of last season as he was recovering from Tommy John surgery.
But, when he was back on the field Harper remained elite.
The Phillies need him in the lineup for a full 162.
Harper will be taking over first-base duties full-time this year.
There is no doubt the Phillies need Harper to stay healthy if they are going to compete for the World Series.
He is too valuable of a player, and one that is due for some good luck in the health department.
Once again, the Phillies are not projected to win the NL East.
That is something they have not done since 2011.
But, all that matters is getting into the postseason and the Phillies should have no problem with that.
