The Los Angeles Chargers have been put under a microscope after their recent loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
This loss brought their record to 2-3 on the season, and many analysts believe that they need to make some major changes moving forward.
Craig Carton recently suggested that Brandon Staley is one of their biggest problems, saying, “Staley’s going to be gone for sure.”
“There’s something wrong about that franchise. Staley’s going to be gone for sure.”

After this season, Carton believes the Chargers will take a hard look at their coaching staff, ultimately firing Staley.
When he accepted the job as the Chargers coach, Staley seemed to be a breath of fresh air.
He was lauded for his unorthodox approach to coaching, relying heavily on analytics to help make his decisions.
This might have seemed like a positive towards Staley at the time, but he is now in the hot seat for some of his antics.
For instance, the Chargers had an opportunity to tie their game against the Cowboys with a field goal.
They went for it on fourth down but failed to convert their opportunity.
After this failed attempt, the rest of the game seemed to be in the Cowboys’ hands, leaving the Chargers at a marked deficit for the rest of the game.
A late interception from Justin Herbert sealed their fate, failing to complete a comeback.
While one loss in the regular season is not necessarily the end of the world for a team, Carton believes that the Chargers’ season is effectively over.
Can Staley and Herbert turn things around by the end of the season?
