After a potential game-changing offseason for the Atlanta Falcons, the struggling franchise might be looking at an easier-than-expected 2024 campaign, with the team having one of the easiest schedules in the league.
The Falcons officially became tired of struggling in the post-Matt Ryan era after another forgettable season in 2023 and decided to make some moves in an effort to right the ship.
As a result, the biggest move the team made was upgrading the quarterback position by signing veteran Kirk Cousins, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings.
Even though Cousins is coming off an Achilles surgery, the Falcons felt confident enough in the veteran’s ability to bounce back and be the right man for the job under center in Atlanta.
According to Warren Sharp of The Ringer, the Falcons have the easiest schedule of any team in the league for the 2024 NFL season.

All five of the teams Sharp listed with the easiest schedules will benefit greatly from that being the case, as the Los Angeles Chargers are starting fresh with Jim Harbaugh as their new head coach, while the Chicago Bears are more than likely bringing in a generational talent in USC superstar quarterback Caleb Williams in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.
The New York Jets could also use an easy schedule as they get superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers back up to speed after his season-ending Achilles injury last year, while the New Orleans Saints will also welcome an easy schedule with Derek Carr and company hoping to make some noise in the NFC next season.
