The Buffalo Bills have been one of the best teams in the AFC since Josh Allen has come into his own as a quarterback.
While they haven’t made it to the Super Bowl under Allen, judging by how teams talk about the Bills, they are seen as a threat to take over the AFC every year.
Despite their success in the regular season, head coach Sean McDermott has commented on the Bills’ coverage in sports media.
He believes it isn’t fair how they are covered, calling it “narrow-minded” to say that the team isn’t good enough.
After hearing this, Craig Carton took it upon himself to set the record straight in a recent segment of his show.
“No one has come out and said that the Sean McDermott-Josh Allen Bills have had no success. If you said that, you’re a clown. McDermott gets credit for turning the franchise around,” Carton said.

Allen has helped turn the franchise around, and he doesn’t need a Super Bowl ring for that to be the case.
Of course, it could help his cause, especially seeing how crowded the AFC has been for the past several years.
Teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals aren’t going anywhere, so for Allen to rise above these elite teams will be an impressive challenge.
