The race for NFL MVP has been up for debate over the past several weeks.
Fans and analysts have given their respective reasons for their pick to win this award.
Brock Purdy and Dak Prescott have recently been in the running for MVP, as it has seemingly come down to a two-player race.
After watching both players over the past several weeks, Willie Colon supported Prescott in a recent segment of The Carton Show.
In this segment, Colon called Prescott “Flat-out dominant,” adding that he is “definitely the MVP.”
Dak Prescott or Brock Purdy for MVP?
“Dak Prescott is definitely the MVP and I think he made a hell of a case. What he’s doing with this offense is flat-out DOMINANT.” — @willcolon66

Purdy slightly edges out Prescott in many statistical categories when looking at their overall totals for the year.
Among completion percentage, passing yards, touchdown passes, interceptions, and passer rating, Prescott only leads Purdy in touchdown passes and interceptions.
However, Purdy has the slightest edge over him in the other categories, which doesn’t bother Colon.
Prescott has continued to make his case in Colon’s mind, and because of the Cowboys’ success, he has no problem declaring Prescott as his MVP.
These two players seem to be in a heated battle for this award, which will likely come down to the last game of the regular season.
Both have made a compelling case thus far, making it a potentially tricky decision.
When looking at most Las Vegas sportsbooks, Prescott is slightly favored at the moment, with Purdy behind him.
Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, and Tua Tagovailoa round out the top five, but at this point, it would take a lot for any of these players to surpass Prescott or Purdy.
