The 2024 NFL Draft is one of the most anticipated from the past decade.
This year’s class has been highly regarded for the past few years, and if the top prospects pay off, they could make a splash on NFL rosters.
Several positions are viewed positively, but the quarterback position seems to be the most discussed, especially for the teams who are in desperate need of a new starter.
The Minnesota Vikings find themselves in that spot with the recent departure of Kirk Cousins.
They did add Sam Darnold earlier in the offseason, but the most recent rumors indicate that the team is targeting a first-round quarterback.
When discussing the upcoming draft, Damien Woody had great things to say about the Vikings in a segment of “Get Up” on ESPN.
“I think Minnesota ultimately is the best situation for any rookie quarterback in this draft,” Woody said.

The Vikings have several young, talented players that could help a rookie quarterback succeed.
Justin Jefferson and T.J. Hockenson are two of the top players in this offense, but there are several others on the roster that can also make a big difference.
Their coaching staff is also highly regarded, and their new GM has been given praise for his abilities early on in his tenure with the team.
While it remains to be seen who the Vikings will draft and if they will trade up, it does appear that they are poised and ready to take on a new signal-caller for the 2024 season.
Will a new quarterback help the Vikings break through and make a meaningful playoff push?
