The Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t look like a playoff-caliber for most of the season, but that’s just how good of a coach Mike Tomlin is.
He won some ugly games and even beat the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens, and that’s despite having one of the worst offenses in the league.
Then again, all good things come to an end, and the Steelers’ season might not be the exception to that rule.
The Black and Gold barely made it to the postseason and will now have to travel to upstate New York for a date with the Buffalo Bills.
They’re currently 9.5-point underdogs, which is not much of a surprise to NFL analyst Craig Carton.
“The Steeler ride comes to an end this weekend. They are gonna get waxed by the Buffalo Bills. You’re gonna see a 30-point offense out of Buffalo and Pittsburgh’s not gonna be able to do much,” Carton said.

Talking on The Carton Show, the controversial pundit didn’t mince his words about Mike Tomlin’s teams, predicting that they would get ‘waxed’ in Buffalo, mostly because they won’t be able to keep up with them offensively:
Carton predicted the Bills to put up 30 points on them, which is not a far-fetched thought without T.J. Watt on the field.
The Steelers have struggled to move the chains all year long, let alone put up points on the scoreboard, and the Bills’ defense is no easy task.
Mason Rudolph has looked much better than both Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky in charge of the offense, so it’s only natural to see him keeping the reins for the postseason.
Then again, we’ve already seen his ceiling, and he could be in for a very, very long night in Buffalo.
