The Dallas Cowboys continue to do the same things over and over, so it’s only natural to see that the outcome is always the same.
Once again, Jerry Jones is playing the waiting game before signing a contract, and once again, it could and should backfire.
Dak Prescott is now fully expected to play next season under his current deal, and he could test free agency after the season.
That only means that the Cowboys would most likely either have to overpay significantly to get him or lose him as he walks away in return for nothing.
With that in mind, former NFL player Ross Tucker called the Cowboys out, stating that he would be furious if he were a Cowboys fan.

Talking on his podcast, he questioned how many more times Jerry Jones would take the same approach and fail.
The Cowboys are the most valuable sports team on Earth, so it’s not about money.
It has always been about Jerry Jones doing things his way.
His mind games have rarely — if ever — worked, at least when it comes to putting together a winning and successful football team.
It’s been almost three decades since the Cowboys last made it to the big game, and while they’re popular and valuable, they have also become the laughingstock of most sports fan bases in the U.S.
That’s not going to change for as long as Jerry Jones is the sole decision-maker, and losing Dak Prescott in free agency might set them back years.
