The Dallas Cowboys were one of the best all-around teams in the NFL during the regular season, with the offense firing on all cylinders with star quarterback Dak Prescott being a legitimate MVP candidate, and the defense being as intimidating as ever with superstar linebacker Micah Parsons leading the way.
Unfortunately, despite the team’s regular-season success, the Cowboys fell flat in the postseason yet again, with Dallas unable to defend its home field of AT&T Stadium against Jordan Love and the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers, who barely made the playoffs.
With Prescott now going 2-5 in the playoffs during his time in Dallas, the quarterback’s worth in the postseason has really been put into question, as many are starting to write him off as a viable option under center when the lights are the brightest.
James Jones of FOX Sports believes that Prescott can’t be trusted when playoff time rolls around via Speak On FS1.
“In the regular season, I would bet on Dak Prescott any game. In the postseason, nah. He cannot be trusted,” Jones said.

At this point in time, without any true success being shown during his time with the Cowboys when it comes to the postseason, it’s hard not to agree with Jones because Prescott has shown who he is time after time.
With Prescott showing his true colors over and over again, it’ll be interesting to see what the next move will be for longtime owner Jerry Jones, as his window of opportunity in Dallas is getting smaller and smaller.
The Cowboys have such a talented roster right now that it would be a shame to let it go to waste because of a quarterback that can’t get them over the hump.
