The Kansas City Chiefs are inevitable, or so it seems.
Even on a down year by their standards, and despite their season-long woes, frustration, miscues, and whatnot, they still managed to make it to the AFC Championship Game.
This is the sixth time in as many years that Patrick Mahomes will be on this stage, which is why some people still refuse to count him out.
Nonetheless, NFL analyst Craig Carton isn’t like most people
Talking on The Carton Show, the controversial pundit stated that there’s simply no way the Chiefs can upset the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday:
“Kansas City’s not winning this game. As great as Mahomes is, and he’s great, the reality is that when you’re going up against a defense that can dominate you on all three levels, you’re not going to win,” said Carton.

He explained that as much as people rave about this defense being the best of the Parick Mahomes era, they also happen to have the worst offense he’s ever had, and they won’t be able to overcome that.
Truth be told, it’ll take a big effort to get past a juggernaut like the Ravens, a team that has beaten all the winning teams they’ve faced this season.
Still, you should never count out the best player in the game, and Mahomes has proven that he’s that guy.
The Ravens still need to prove themselves at this stage, and Lamar Jackson has often left something to be desired in the postseason.
Mahomes, on the other hand, is the kind of player who rises to the occasion and thrives in adversity, and this team has the experience to pull things off regardless of the outcome and how poorly they’ve played at times this season.
Simply put, the Ravens should win this game, but there’s no antidote for greatness, so don’t sleep on Pat.
