The Indianapolis Colts could be on the verge of an even better season with second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson back healthy.
After being selected in the first round by the team out of Florida, Richardson showed flashes but played in just four games in his rookie year before being shut down due to injury (shoulder).
Now healthy, Richardson and the Colts have an opportunity to build off of a near-playoff season a year ago.
ESPN analyst and former Super Bowl winner Damien Woody recently spoke on ESPN Radio about how good Richardson can be this year.
“I think he is going to light it up…This dude is going to be a problem,” Woody stated.

Woody also noted that because of where head coach Shane Steichen has been and who he has worked with, that is why Richardson can be great in Indy.
Steichen has coached the likes of Phillip Rivers, Justin Herbert, and Jalen Hurts in previous stops.
He can help turn Richardson into a star in the NFL.
The former Gator showed some promise in his four games last year.
He recorded seven total touchdowns (three passing) and just a single interception with the Colts going 2-2 in his starts.
If he just becomes a little bit smarter with how he runs and when he decides to get down, he can save his health.
The team added speedy rookie wide receiver AD Mitchell from Texas in the NFL Draft to go with 1,000-yard receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and other starter Josh Downs.
With a healthy Richardson and a fully-committed All-Pro running back in Jonathan Taylor in the picture too, the Colts can be a scary team in 2024.
