For several weeks, the majority of NFL fans and analysts have believed that Lamar Jackson will win the NFL MVP.
He was among the most dominant players in the regular season, and without him, the Baltimore Ravens likely wouldn’t have been in the position they were in during the playoffs.
Jackson is the odds-on favorite to take home this award, as Las Vegas sportsbooks tend to believe he will win this honor.
Craig Carton cautioned this in a recent conversation in his show, pointing to another quarterback who could end up with the award.
He said, “Do not be surprised if Josh Allen steals the MVP Award.”

Carton talked about the fact that he is hearing “rumblings” about Allen taking the award.
Whether or not those rumblings are true or not, remains to be seen.
His collaborators on the show seemed skeptical about his comments, and with Jackson being such a heavy favorite, at least in Las Vegas, it almost seems too good to be true.
However, Allen did have a great year, and he is a finalist for MVP.
He was a large reason for the Bills’ push to the playoffs, and even though they fell short of a Super Bowl, he continues to prove his worth to this team.
The NFL Honors are on February 8th, leaving fans just one more day to speculate about who will come home with the MVP award, along with the other accolades that are given out on this night, including the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
