The NFL Draft is rapidly approaching, leaving teams just a few weeks to make their final evaluations of prospects.
The quarterback position has been discussed at length recently, as several players could go in the first round.
One of those players is Drake Maye, who can be a polarizing prospect, depending on who you talk to.
Some analysts believe Maye is a shoo-in to be the No. 2 quarterback in the class, but others aren’t so sure.
Take Bucky Brooks, for example, who talked about his concerns with Maye on the NFL on FOX Podcast.
After reviewing Maye’s film, he said, “You end up leaving with more questions than answers after his second season.”

However, this is not to say that Maye isn’t all bad or that he will not be a good player in the NFL.
Brooks noted his “big-time arm talent, tremendous athleticism, improvisational play-making ability that everyone wants in a quarterback.”
He is slightly concerned with Maye’s ability to win in big games, as Brooks noted that, at times, he tried to do a bit too much.
It will be interesting to see the team Maye ends up with and what his career as an NFL quarterback will look like.
There is speculation that he will go to the New England Patriots with the No. 3 overall pick, which could be an interesting fit for a team that is looking to rebuild around a quarterback.
Does Maye possess the level of upside a team like the Patriots is looking for?
