The Green Bay Packers went from one Hall of Fame quarterback to the next one.
The chances of finding the next Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers were quite slim.
But even though it’s quite early to tell, the early returns show that Jordan Love might be their third legendary quarterback in a row.
At least, that’s how NFL analyst Craig Carton feels.
Talking on The Carton Show, he claimed that the young quarterback has all the makings of a superstar.

He showed that his stats from his first year as a starter were nearly identical to Aaron Rodgers’.
Love was one of the best quarterbacks in the league in the second half of the season.
He closed out the season on a high note, and while most people will only remember that last pass vs. the San Francisco 49ers, he had the team in a legitimate position to pull off a huge upset and reach the NFC Championship Game.
The Packers look like a team that’s far ahead of schedule.
They didn’t make any big moves in the offseason because they already have plenty of talent in their ranks, and they just need more reps and experience to get even better.
Love also showed his natural leadership skills and earned the praise and respect of the entire locker room, which is a lot to say for a young quarterback.
What seemed to be a very bad pick at first will most likely prove all the doubters wrong in no time.
