The Kansas City Chiefs have now won their second consecutive Super Bowl, their third in the past five seasons.
The Chiefs have been a staple of the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl lately, making them the team to beat in 2024.
Even though teams were well aware of what the Chiefs were capable of heading into this year, they were ultimately unable to stop them.
When looking ahead to next year, Willie Colon outlined two teams that could take them down in a recent segment of The Carton Show.
He mentioned the Green Bay Packers as the NFC team, but when looking toward the AFC, he called out the Houston Texans.
“AFC-wise, it’s the Texans. C.J. Stroud, year two, he’s gonna be money good,” Colon said.
What team has the best chance to beat Kansas City next season?

The Texans turned things around in a big way this year, performing extremely well in Stroud’s first year as their starter.
After ending the 2022 campaign with a 3-13-1 record, they won the AFC South with a 10-7 record this season.
While there were several contributing factors to their success, Stroud is seen as one of the most significant pieces for their growth.
He won Offensive Rookie of the Year this season and even led the Texans to a win in a playoff game over the Cleveland Browns.
They showed a lot of promise throughout the year, which should give them the confidence to take down a team like the Chiefs in 2024, should they build upon the success they found this year.
Mahomes has proven to be a tough QB to beat in the playoffs, but a young, upstart team like the Texans could be the team to figure it out.
