The Cleveland Browns don’t get enough credit.
We’re talking about a team that made it all the way to the Wild Card round last season despite having four different quarterbacks starting games for them.
On top of that, they lost their superstar running back early in the season and were perhaps the team most affected by injuries throughout the course of the season.
That’s why NFL analyst Bucky Brooks believes they could be a Super Bowl contender.
Nonetheless, he also thinks the league didn’t do them any favors with their schedule.
Talking on NFL Total Access, Brooks claimed that, on paper, the Browns should be one of the teams to beat in the league, as they’re absolutely stacked and will have their quarterback back to full strength.

Still, he also pointed out the fact that they have the toughest strength of schedule in the league, not to mention that they play in perhaps the most competitive division.
Brooks believes that if the Browns are able to stay healthy and HC Kevin Stefanski keeps the players locked in, they could be a legitimate dark horse to go the distance this season.
That makes sense, as the Browns have more than enough talent on both sides of the field, a championship-caliber defense, and a generational talent at defensive end in Myles Garrett.
Whether they’ll be able to shake off those years of struggles and finally get over the hump, especially with that tough schedule ahead of them, remains to be seen.
