The Baltimore Ravens wasted a prime opportunity to get back to the Super Bowl.
The Kansas City Chiefs looked more beatable than ever, they had the reigning MVP, an elite defense — arguably the best in the game — and a stellar running attack.
So, now that could lose several key players in free agency, some believe their title window may have closed already.
Notably, that’s not the case with NFL analyst Craig Carton.
Talking on The Carton Show, he stated that their title window is still ‘wide open,’ arguing that they still have the best rushing attack in football, a great defense, and the MVP.
“The Baltimore Ravens’ window is WIDE OPEN,” Carton said.
Is the #Ravens championship window open or closed?

Of course, this all makes sense, but things won’t get any easier for John Harbaugh’s team.
For starters, they will have as many as 13 key free agents, with several of them on the defensive side of the ball.
They lost defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald to the Seattle Seahawks’ head coaching job, and they could lose Odell Beckham Jr. as well.
On top of that, the AFC will only get tougher.
Deshaun Watson, Joe Burrow, and Aaron Rodgers will be back to full strength, and the Pittsburgh Steelers could also get better at quarterback.
The Chiefs will also look to address their offensive flaws from this season in free agency.
The Ravens should continue to be a contending force in the league for years to come.
Whether they continue to win the most games in the conference under this context could be a different story.
