Minnesota Vikings All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson made history this offseason by signing a four-year deal worth $140 million.
That is the largest contract for a non-quarterback in NFL history.
Another great wide receiver in Dallas Cowboys All-Pro CeeDee Lamb is looking to get paid in a similar way as the regular season starts to inch closer with training camp starting up.
Fox Sports’s Craig Carton believes Lamb should be paid more than Jefferson.
“Put (CeeDee Lamb’s) numbers up against Justin Jefferson’s numbers…If I’m CeeDee Lamb, if Justin Jefferson gets 35 (million), I might want 40 (million),” Carton recently said.

Lamb was arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL last season after leading the league in targets (181), receptions (135), and yards after the catch (680).
He also finished second in the league in receiving yards with 1,749.
Even if Jefferson was healthy last season, it is hard to know if he would have hit those numbers, considering his former quarterback in Kirk Cousins missed half of the season due to injury.
Regardless, Lamb has proven over the last few seasons that he is one of the best in the game at his position.
The three-time Pro-Bowler has recorded over 1,100 receiving yards each of the last three seasons and caught 100+ passes in back-to-back seasons.
It is up to Jerry Jones regarding how much he is willing to give Lamb, who he needs on his offense.
If the former first-round pick is not at practice or suited up on game day for this team, they are in a worse spot.
