The Dallas Cowboys remain the only team that has not signed anybody in free agency, causing fans to get a little anxious after owner Jerry Jones said that the team was all in for 2024.
There’s no reason to panic yet, as the Super Bowl isn’t won in the offseason, but surely the Cowboys will make a splash sooner than later.
According to Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com, a very familiar face could be on the team’s radar, as he mentions Ezekiel Elliott as a potential target at running back.
Dillon is in play, I believe, but I’ll also repeat what I said on @CowboysBreak:
I wouldn’t rule out a possible reunion with Ezekiel Elliott (and then also drafting an RB to tandem).
His relationship with the #Cowboys is still positive and the dialogue has remained open. https://t.co/FbM9wCgl1b

Elliott is a free agent after playing last season on a one-year deal with the New England Patriots, where he put up 642 yards and three touchdowns on the ground along with 51 receptions for another 313 yards and two touchdowns.
Zeke played the first seven years of his career with the Cowboys after they made him the 4th pick in the 2016 draft and he lived up to the sky-high expectations, where he made three Pro Bowls, led the league in rushing twice, and ran for over 8,200 yards and 68 touchdowns.
Elliott is still only 28 years old and showed in New England that he can still produce, albeit not as the bell-cow he once was.
He’d be best suited to slide into a timeshare, as Walker suggests that a Zeke reunion would also likely come with selecting a running back in the draft to form a tandem similar to the one Dallas had for years with Zeke and Tony Pollard, who recently signed with the Tennessee Titans.
Dallas also recently lost center Tyler Biadasz in free agency.
