Now that the 2023 NFL Season has concluded, teams can start to plan for 2024.
The journey begins for teams to figure out what holes they have on their rosters, hoping to fill those gaps before other teams steal away prospective players.
For the Chicago Bears, they find themselves in a precarious position.
They have two first-round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, including the No. 1 overall selection they acquired from the Carolina Panthers.
Many believe the team should move on from Justin Fields and draft a quarterback with this pick.
However, as Mike Tannenbaum recently highlighted in a segment of ‘Get Up,’ he believes Fields could still be a viable NFL starter, whether it’s with the Bears or another team.

He didn’t necessarily make a definitive statement on Fields’ future with the Bears, but he did highlight the fact that Fields has been sacked far too many times in his career.
Tannenbaum believes that Fields hasn’t necessarily gotten a fair crack at an NFL career, seeing how poor the Bears’ offensive line has been throughout his tenure.
If he goes to a more ideal landing spot, fans will truly get to see what Fields can do as an NFL quarterback.
This, of course, assumes that the Bears will move on from him.
The next several weeks should be very telling for this team, as it will indicate their thoughts on the former first-round QB.
Will they hold on to Fields, or decide to start over with a shiny, new prospect like Caleb Williams?
